The Founder
Caitríona Boyd
Caitríona started off her film career studying in Dublin City University with a Bachelor’s Degree in communications. She then later went onto receive her Masters Degree in media and broadcast production from Queen’s University of Belfast.
Since graduating, she has worked on a number of award winning short films, including her most notable piece Into the Silence. She works alongside The Houses of the Oireachtas as Production Co-Ordinator and Administrator where she works on Oireachtas TV, a 24/7 channel that streams live political debates in the Dáil and Seanad chambers, as well as educational documentaries.
The Company
Yellow Wall Pictures Limited
Founded in spring 2026, Caitríona created Yellow Wall Pictures to push her own personal boundaries and to test the limits as a female filmmaker in the 21st century.
It was born out of a need for women to be represented both on and off screen. The film industry is heavily male dominated and Yellow Wall Pictures aims to change that.
With an emphasis on women’s voices, Yellow Wall Pictures’ objective is to tell stories that would otherwise go unheard and untold.
